Culworth Primary School AssociationPlease Help!
We need you to help us keep the CPSA events going this year. Many of the current Committee who have worked so hard for the last few years are retiring on at the AGM on 29th February. So far, we do do not have enough parents to help take over the roles being vacated. Without further volunteers, there is a VERY REAL RISK of no CPSA events this year. You don’t have to go to every meeting. There are many small tasks which can be taken on which will share the load and keep things moving forward. Please speak to a committee member, come to the AGM (Monday 27th February at 8pm) or just call Karen 01327 263253 to ask how you can help. Thank You ! Culworth Primary School Association is a body of parents, carers, teachers and governor representatives who get together on a regular basis to organise and plan fundraising events for the year for the benefit of the children at the school. The CPSA committee has formal members i.e. Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, etc. as well as general committee members. The team works hard to ensure that the emphasis is not only on fundraising (which they are enormously successful at) but also on FUN for everyone involved! The CPSA is an open group of like-minded people and we would love to hear your ideas on how we can continue to raise funds successfully. The CPSA is reliant on as many people as possible giving their support - not only in attending events but in helping as well. So please come to our next event or meeting! For new parents and carers, these meetings and events are a great way to meet people and keep in touch with what is going on during and after school. Your Class Representatives for 2011 are: Nest – Clancy Leadbeater Burrow – Sarah Case Drey – Michelle Blee & Juliet Nicholls Den – Rachel Smith & Anna Alanson Eyrie – Cindy Lika & Lynn Smallwood Schoolhouse News is a regular newsletter prepared by the CPSA and sent home and posted on the parents’ notice board in the main cloakroom. This ensures everyone is kept aware of what is happening and when and how they can support. From Cake Bakes and Bingo to our highly acclaimed Firework Display and Christmas Fair, the CPSA works tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds for the school in many ways. Thank you to everyone for your boundless energy! Katherine Lewis CPSA Chair |
