Sports and Music

We have previously sent out a sports newsletter but have now decided to report on sports and music events in regular newsletters.  I apologise in advance if I omit anything or repeat myself.

Basket ball

The player of the month for January was Thomas Stuart and February was Michael Gregory.  Well done to both.

Cross country

I would like to congratulate all the children in 2ME, 2JM and 2AW who took part in the schools’ cross country competition at Woodford Halse. The children all tried their hardest and should be congratulated on their good behaviour. I would also like to congratulate Lincoln Alexander in 2ME who came 8^th out of 130.

Swimming

Well done to the 20 children from 2JM who were chosen to go to Daventry to take part in a teachers’ course on teaching children how to swim.  Their behaviour was outstanding. Well done children.

Music

We have several children who are about to take music exams and I am sure you would like to join me in wishing them luck.
